What’s in the box?

This cup is well suited to the seasoned menstrual cup user because it is SOFT. Softer cups require a bit more effort to ensure they have completely opened once inserted into the vagina, & this can be harder for first time users to get the hang of, but not impossible.

Don’t think that just because this says X-Elle it is for an extra-large vagina. Menstrual cups are NOT ‘one size fits all’ product. This cup was added to the range to cater to women who need extra capacity. A heavier flow requires a slightly wider rim to ensure a proper fit to avoid leaking – especially after childbirth but not limited to that alone. Choosing a size that fits best is important to ensure the cup doesn’t leak & provides ultimate comfort. To ensure you get your sizing right & for other menstrual cup information, click here.

  4. Insert the cup until the stem is 1-2 cm inside of the vagina.
  5. Release the crease & allow the cup to spring securely & comfortably into place. You may hear a ‘popping’ sound, it is just the cup opening.

  7. If it is too long, the stem of the X-Elle cup can be trimmed.
How to remove your cup:

  6. Tip the contents into the toilet.
  7. Rinse, & reinsert if needed.
